The Hardware Department
You will be working in the Mechanics team in the Hardware department. The Mechanics team is responsible for developing and maintaining the mechanical, optical, and esthetical parts of CellaVisions analyzers and accessories. The team also has responsibilities in testing the analyzers according to applicable international regulations and standards, and in transferring designs to production.

Key tasks as a Senior Mechanical Engineer
Design mechanical parts and assemblies for our automated microscopes such as interfacing optical parts and moving mechanics for handling patients’ samples.
Collect requirements for the end customer’s needs and utilize these requirements in the design solution.
Test the design and construction of our modules, accessories, and systems.
Create specifications, requirements, parts lists, test instructions, and assembly instructions.
Review design proposals and documents and contribute with constructive criticism
In cooperation with our third-party manufacturers, transfer new systems and accessories into production.
Independently planning activities activities and taking on a leading role within our projects.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
You have a passion for innovation, technology, improvement, and creativity.
Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
7-10 years of experience in mechanical design, using CAD.
You have good English written and verbal communication skills.
You have good Swedish written and verbal communication skills.
At least one of the following
Expert knowledge in strength/tolerance analysis or similar analytical problem skills.
Expert knowledge in designing for manufacturing.
Expert knowledge of optics.
