At Software and Applications, science is in our blood. We work at the forefront of technology and use some of the latest advances in programming, digital imaging, and machine learning to create customer value. At Software and Applications, you can drive the future of digital cell morphology among highly skilled and passionate colleagues.
There are four teams in Software and Applications;
- Applications 1
- Applications 2
- Technical Writing.
All our work has different aspects of the critical interface between man and machine but has the same goal; to replace labor-intensive manual steps with state-of-the-art digital counterparts to automate and simplify the process of performing blood and body fluid differentials.
The Application teams develop the algorithms in our analyzers that automatically locate and pre-classify cells. The better the software performs, the easier and faster the user can verify the results. The Software team assists the user by designing intuitive user interfaces for working with the images and provides the infrastructure for humans to cooperate and connect in collaborative networks. The Technical Writing team sets up the rule book for man-machine cooperation by writing comprehensive and user-friendly instructions for use.
The teams often cooperate using an agile approach where the developers jointly take all functionality through design, implementation, and testing. Software and Applications offer an opportunity for varied and challenging work with lots of freedom and responsibility.
