Joakim Alnefjord
Junior Software Engineer – Software & ApplicationsPlease describe yourself in 20 words or less.
Adventurous and curious, piano- and chess-playing, philosophy-reading, theoretical particle physicist who likes to do a bit of everything.
Briefly describe your role and responsibilities at CellaVision.
I work with developing and improving the software for the CellaVision analyzers, as well as training neural networks for cell classification. Different teams work on different types of analysis, and I work in the body fluids team. I spend most of my time coding, but my work also consists of collaborative discussions as well as testing the analyzers by running body fluid samples through them.
In your opinion, what makes CellaVision a great place to work?
I’ve been massively impressed by how kind, intelligent, and helpful everyone has been here. It’s an open environment where your ideas are heard, and it is easy to ask for help. I also feel like it is easy to improve and develop, both professionally and as a person.
