Strategic Partnership Manager

How will you contribute?
In this role, you will be part of Business Development which spearheads CellaVision’s venture into new application areas in close, cross-functional collaboration with the organization. Adjacency expansion is a prioritized growth strategy for the company, and CellaVision is developing technology which will provide unique benefits for the application within pathology and cytology. You will be a central interface between external strategic partners and internal stakeholders. You will work with a diverse set of evolving tasks at the practical as well as strategic level. As a Strategic Partnership Manager you will:
- Manage and drive progress of high-profile strategic partnership(s)/alliance(s) within pathology and cytology – from formation of partnership and project qualification through joint development projects to commercialization and operation
- Act as point-of-contact towards strategic partners and coordinate activities internally with the development team to ensure timely planning, risk management and delivery
- Build and manage relationships within collaboration partner(s) at the operational and strategic level, incl. contract management
- Define and own the use cases, user needs and product requirements
- Prepare business case(s) and follow-up over time
- Qualify joint roadmaps with strategic partner(s) and ensure follow-through
- Explore new market opportunities in adjacent fields as well as additional opportunities with existing partners
- Monitor market trends, competitors and emerging technologies to refine market analysis of relevant segments and applications
What will you bring?
- A master’s degree in business or relevant scientific field
- >5 years of experience from partnerships, business development, strategy or marketing/product management in an international environment
- Experience from management consulting preferred, albeit not a prerequisite
- Robust project management and stakeholder management skills
- A natural interest in new and advanced technology development, and in building the business around it
- A highly collaborative mindset, a sincere interest in building strong relationships and the ability to navigate at different organizational levels
- A positive, pro-active and solution-focused attitude, continuously following up, calibrating and driving progress
- A strong problem-solving toolbox and profound analytical capacity
- Advanced communication skills and are fluent in written and spoken English
- Experience from medtech, pharma, biotech, or other technology-driven sector is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
