What You'll Do

As Engineering Manager for the hardware team, you’ll play a central role in our Devices & Software division. You’ll lead a skilled group of engineers and foster a culture where collaboration, creativity, and both technical and professional growth thrive. You’ll report directly to our Director of Hardware.

This role requires broad technical competence—you understand systems at a high level and can connect the dots between hardware, software, and electronics to support and guide your team effectively.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a diverse team of engineers.
• Support team development through continuous feedback, goal setting and knowledge sharing.
• Manage recruitment, performance, work organization, compensation, and work environment.
• Ensure ongoing development of our instruments and tools in hardware, software, and electronics.

About You

You’re a confident leader who enjoys coaching people and driving development. You’re organized, collaborative, and passionate about tech and innovation. You are also goal-oriented, and have the ability to focus on several parallell tasks at once. 

We’re looking for someone with:

• A Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in leadership and project management, ideally in R&D environments.
• Broad technical competence with in mechanics, electronics and software development. 
• Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus. 
• Experience in medical technology or other regulated industries is a plus.
