About the Role

We are expanding our product portfolio with new whole-slide image scanners for cytology and pathology, and we need talented software engineers to join our Scanner Solutions team!

As one of the first members of this team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of this innovative technology. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll work on the entire software stack—from the graphical user interface to hardware components. You will take responsibility for technical software implementation, as well as help plan and lead the technical development within the team.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop new features using C++, C#, Python, and SQL.
• Act as a technical lead for software development.
• Work on algorithms for digital imaging.
• Design and evaluate optical systems and image sensors.
• Contribute to software design and architecture.
• Implement and optimize machine learning models.
• Oversee machine learning operations.

About You

You are a passionate full-stack engineer with experience in taking products from prototype to production. You excel in teamwork and thrive on solving complex problems by breaking them down into manageable tasks. You stay calm under pressure and know how to prioritize your work.

Your Experience:

• M.Sc. in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in product development involving electronics, mechanics, and software.
• Extensive experience as a software developer.
• Experience with designing and implementing software architecture.
• Familiarity with optical systems and image sensors.
• Knowledge of computer vision and digital imaging.
• Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
