Briefly describe your role and responsibilities at CellaVision.
I am the manager for the Software team within Hardware. We are responsible for the electronics and software that makes our analyzers move and capture images. We develop and maintain hard real-time systems with high demands on both throughput and response time using a mix of embedded Linux, FPGAs and PC applications, which means the team needs to be skilled in a variety of programming paradigms and languages.
In your opinion, what makes CellaVision a great place to work?
You get to work on complex technical problems that require engineering skills from several disciplines, where you have much freedom in your choice of tools and methods. Knowing that the products are used for fighting serious illnesses also gives satisfaction.
