Market Support Manager Russia

Are you passionate about sales, business development and have a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare market? Do you want to work independently out in the field with innovative, world leading products within hematology? CellaVision is now looking to strengthen the Global Sales team by stepping in to the Russian market with a Market Support Manager.


We are looking for a key player to further develop the CellaVision concept in Russia to be based in metropolitan areas Moscow or St Petersburg. The role of the Market Support Manager is extremely important and integral to CellaVision’s success in the Russian Market. The overall task is to work as a Market Support Manager with the ambitious task of explaining the value and benefits using digital microscopy to end-customers and to CellaVision’s distribution partners.


The Market Support Manager will be an active partner working in close collaboration with CellaVision’s distribution partners to increase sales and secure our growth in Russia. The role requires extensive contacts with CellaVision’s distribution partners, end-customers, local decision makers and key opinion leaders on a regular basis. You will report to the Director EMEA and be an essential part of the Global Sales team.


Key tasks

As Market Support Manager, you work with representatives from CellaVision’s distribution partners in presenting the CellaVision concept to end-customers. You support distributors for sales and application trainings internally or at customer sites and train their staff on all CellaVision solutions. You plan and organize educational seminars and user meetings together with the distribution partners. As Market Support Manager, you represent our company at national and international conferences and trade shows, and staff CellaVision or distributor boot at exhibitions. You track and report on all distributors’ sales activities, system installations and customer satisfaction in Russia. You also translate marketing materials into local language as required. 


  • 5+ years experience in sales, or market- and application support working in close collaboration with distribution partners or end customers.
  • Willingness to spend most of the time in the field and away from your colleagues, developing close relationships with distribution partners and end-customers.
  • Valid Driver´s licence class B or 3.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Russian.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare market in Russia and to ensure/discover business opportunities.
  • Well-developed method of building and implementing a "go-to-market" growth strategy.
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office environment.

Nice to have

  • Good knowledge in hematology is considered an advantage.
  • BS/M BA in life science or engineering (MBA, MSc. or Ph.D.) is desirable.
  • Experience in supporting medical device registrations in the Russian market.

This is a full-time position ideally based in Moscow or St. Petersburg, Russia. You will work from a home office, and travel to customers/distribution partners in Russia will be a major part of the job. International travel will also occur in a smaller extent.
