As a Mechanical Engineer in Product Care, you will be part of a small team of four. Product Care works with second-line support to solve new, unknown problems from the field. The team carries out continuous product care work, such as the release of bug fix software as well as develop and evaluate alternative components to the production of our systems. We can offer you an exciting role that involves hands-on work with our high-tech platforms, a lot of responsibility, and a great deal of freedom. This position reports to Manager Product Care.

 

Key tasks

  • Create assembling instructions.
  • Design changes in the CAD environment.
  • Carry out cost-reducing- and quality improvement measures for production.
  • Work actively to reduce the test time.
  • Ongoing collaboration with the Supply & Sourcing department & our producer Kitron.

 

Qualifications

  • MSc in Mechanical Engineering preferably specialized in Mechatronics (me) or Production (prr).  
  • A great interest in technology and working with advanced mechanical systems.
  • Good language skills, written and spoken, in both Swedish and English.
  • A curious mindset and good ability to analyze complex problems.
  • Good sense of structure and responsibility to get the work done properly. 
  • Excellent cooperation skills to maintain and nurture relationships with colleagues and external parties.
  • Good understanding of electronics.
  • Experience in CAD, preferably Solid Works (from leisure projects and/or work experience).
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or production environment.
