Are you looking for your first, or perhaps second, career opportunity in software development? CellaVision is now looking to strengthen the Product Care team in Lund with a Software Engineer. As a Software Engineer in Product Care, you will be part of a small team of four. Product Care works with second-line support to solve new, unknown problems from the field. The team carries out continuous product care work, such as the release of bug fix software as well as develop and evaluate alternative components to the production of our systems. We can offer you an exciting role that involves hands-on work with our high-tech platforms, a lot of responsibility, and a great deal of freedom. This position reports to Director Product Care.

 Work tasks:

  • Software development in C++ and C#/.NET. Further development and maintenance of our existing applications as well as developing new applications. Store Data in SQL database manipulated by a database service and then presented to the user in the GUI.
  • Bug hunts and code optimizations and problem-solving
  • Troubleshooting problems in the customer's IT environment.
  • Knowledge sharing within the team and participating in code reviews.
  • Requirement specification writes design descriptions and various reports. Design of test cases and hands-on testing.
  • Learn new things but also delve into some long-forgotten secrets of coding, such as MFC.

 Who You Are   

  • You have a university degree (or you are close to graduation) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information and Communication, or a related field.
  • You feel enthusiastic about developing and maintaining Windows applications in C++ and/or C#.
  • You are passionate about hunting bugs and solving problems that affect our users.
  • If you also have experience or a strong interest in network environments, virtualization technology, or servers – then you are our dream candidate!
